TRINIDAD 2010 MISSION TRIP (January 29 - February 9, 2010)                 (back)

Three persons from Faith United (Thelma Taylor, Skip and Connie Evans) joined with 19 others from around the state of Michigan in the 2010 Mission Trip to Arima, Trinidad. Tile was laid on the sanctuary floor (9,000 square feet of tile), and the sanctuary walls were painted twice with the front painted three times. A Vacation Bible School was held in the late afternoon for the children. We had children ranging in age from 3 to 20 attending, and we grew from 21 children on Monday to 41 children on Friday. It was wonderful working with these children!

Several of us also were able to visit and share about Jesus in the Government Primary School on Friday morning. The government in Trinidad welcomes religious education in their public schools. What a wonderful thing to behold!
