AROUND THE WORLD:                (back)
Our congregation helps to support two international missionary families.

Neville & Anne Tan
Neville is the senior pastor of the Church of God Movement in Singapore. He also gives leadership to the planting and nurture of congregations in Southeast Asia and Indo-china. Neville is also very involved in encouraging and training pastors and church leaders throughout this area of the world. In addition to these ministries, Neville is an itinerant evangelist, speaking at schools and churches in many parts of the world, and is also involved in prison ministry in Singapore, Southeast Asia, and Indo-china. Faith United has been privileged to have the Tans visit with us on two occasions.

Ben & Kelli Shular
Ben and Kelli, along with their son, Noah, are missionaries to Tanzania. They direct the Children of Promise program in Tanzania. Children of Promise is a Church of God ministry that works to provide food, clothing, and medical care, Christian education and nurture to children in need. The program in Tanzania is called “Safina” in reference to the reed basket of Moses when he was placed in the Nile River.

Safina is currently administering assistance to 792 children thanks to the generosity of donors. Before this program came to Tanzania, the Church of God had fewer than 10 graduates from secondary school. That number is now well over 500.

Ben and Kelli also give leadership to the Babati Bible School, the Aldersgate Educational Center, and Ben manages the Church of God construction projects in central Tanzania.
